Mission
The Corvus Center for Mental Health Services’ mission is to provide quality Cognitive Behavioral Therapy treatments to individuals who are suffering and in need of healing. We do this by providing effective, evidence-based treatments, that equip you with the skills to become your own therapist, and move forward with your life.
The Corvus Center was also created to support our clinical providers who serve their communities. The Corvus Center is military spouse owned and operated; our providers balance a career, a family, and dedication to our military spouses. We seek to create an environment of growth and support for our providers to deliver the best possible service to our clients.
Thank you for supporting our Mission.
Why “Corvus”
The name Corvus—Latin for “raven” or “crow”—was chosen for its deep symbolic meaning and its connection to both the military and the mind. In Norse mythology, ravens were the companions of Odin, ruler of Valhalla, representing thought (“Huginn”) and memory (“Muninn”). These concepts mirror the foundation of our treatments, which focuses on understanding and reshaping the relationship between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
The corvid family is also known for intelligence, adaptability, and resilience—qualities that reflect the strength and perseverance of service members and veterans. Choosing Corvus honors those who have served and recognizes the ongoing process of healing and growth that continues beyond the battlefield.
